Custom Spinning Wheels?
Fellow spinners, lend me your ears (and your Rolodexes) !
I've been trying to compile a list of custom wheel makers, but am finding my task difficult going. Searching for "custom spinning wheels" on Google gets me nothing except endless sites to help me add some bling to my car (not my style, although now I can hold my own slang-wise at the next illegal street race I happen to attend).
If you know of anyone - companies, individuals, whatever - that makes custom spinning wheels, in the US or abroad, would you please email me their name/contact info? If you happen to know their base wheel price or expected wait time too that would be extra fabulous.
I'm going to put a deadline on this request because the info could possibly be used in a super-secret Spin-Off project (dun dun dun!) ... so if you have any info and could email it to me at sberganini@interweave.com by June 1st I would very much appreciate it.
Posting info in the comments section here works too!
Thanks!

Norm Hall of Oxford, NY is a custom spinning wheel maker who exhibits at Rhinebeck. I believe his business name is "Norm Hall Traditionals," or something similar. He does not use a computer. Phone is: (607)843-9686. He makes a number of styles & they look and spin like a dream. Warning: he has a considerable waiting list, about 6 or 7 years. He may have demo wheels more readily available, but then they wouldn't be custom-made.
What about Betty Roberts? Also no website but she does have a pretty active Yahoo Group.
Oh...and that Robin Wheels guy...

And,you know, Aldon Amos:-)
And I'm sure you've already got the Watson Wheels on your list since they were vendors at SOAR.
I know somebody else will come along with a couple more.
I realize I'm late, but what about Carson Cooper? http://www.ztwist.com/
Also, Dave at Merlin Tree makes more than those little Hitchhikers.
